The first of a series of events to help our members learn more about the Company.
We will hear from the Chair of the Charities Committee, June Lumsden and former Chair, Brian Gordon, about the role the Committee plays in the Company. We are also delighted to welcome the Company’s Almoner, Ann Murdoch who will provide an insight into how we help some of Edinburgh’s older citizens.
Katie Ridland from the Membership Committee will explain how the committee “pivoted” from the physical meetings in the Hall to a virtual environment and share with you their plans for the rest of 2021.
There will be an opportunity at the end of the two presentations to go into breakout rooms, to socialise with other company members over a glass of something. Unfortunately, on this occasion you will have to provide your own beverage of choice, but we look forward to a time that we are back in the Hall and can enjoy the wine and canapés there.
