On Friday 6 March, The Association of Assistants held another successful and splendid dinner within the Hall, hosted by the Chairman. This year’s Guest Speaker, and Member of the Association of Assistants, Julie Ashworth who gave a tremendous presentation about her life and experiences which enlightened the assembled party. It was incredible. The Master offered a welcome, the members enjoyed a five course formal dinner in a most spectacular setting, and Old Master, Pat Denzler, provided the vote of thanks.
Due to the timing, and in acknowledgement of thegrowing impact of COVID-19, the loving cup ceremony was altered for the event, with an individually wrapped chocolate taken from the cup by each guest whilst being protected by their neighbour!
